Tokusen Ippon (white)
This Japanese takuan is prepared from daikon grown in the Miyazaki Prefecture, Japan, and then naturally sun-dried. The daikon radishes are dried using the traditional "yagura-boshi" method before being prepared one by one by Michimoto Foods.
Tokusen Ippon is distinguished by its particularly crunchy texture and slightly salty taste. This dried daikon takuan is a perfect accompaniment to a bowl of rice and can also be served as a side dish during a Japanese meal.

"Hinata-zuke" is the range of takuan from Michimoto Foods made with 100% sun-dried Miyazaki daikon. Tokusen Ippon thus highlights the firm and crunchy texture characteristic of dried daikon, with a mild and slightly salty flavor.
